How does Blix work?
Blix is an intelligent blending system. All you need to do is to purchase the machine and the Blix cups of your choice from our website and we will ship them directly to your doorstep. Store your cups in your freezer until you are ready to enjoy. When you are ready, take a cup from the freezer and follow the instructions on How to Use. Your Blix will be ready in just under 60 seconds.

The Blix Starter Pack includes a Blix machine in your color of choice and 6 FREE cups of our most popular recipes.
What is your return policy?
We have a 30 day happiness guarantee for our machine. If you are for any reason not satisfied within 30 days of receiving Blix, you can return to us free of charge. Simply contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help you out.
Do you sell in stores?
Currently, we only sell Blix online, but we plan to expand in the future. For business partnership inquiries, contact us at email@example.com. We also have pop up events once in a while. Follow us on social media to get the most up to date info on where you might find us!
Are the Blix cups recyclable?
Yes, Blix cups are made of PP (polypropylene) plastic material and 100% recyclable. PP plastic has a low impact on the environment with no toxic waste, significantly less CO2 emission than other plastics, and its low melting point reduces the amount of energy needed to manufacture. Furthermore, it can be recycled to give life to new things like crates, garden furniture, and flower pots.
How many Blix cups are in a box?
If you are a subscription customer, Blix cups come in packs of 6 or 12. If you choose to purchase the cups a la carte on your own schedule, you can get as many cups as you’d like in multiples of 6. You can select your quantity when you sign up and purchase.
How do I open the lid?
Simply grip the lid at the edge and pull up. Be sure to ONLY open the lid AFTER you finish blending.
Where do I put the straw?
There is a round opening in the middle of the lid, which has been designed for you to insert the straw.
What kind of liquid do I put in my cup?
Water is the universal elixir we recommend for most of our recipes (with the only exception being olive oil for our Kale Basil Pesto). However, you can feel free to get creative and experiment. For smoothies, try milk or diary-free milk, juices, plant waters like coconut water, or even a dash of alcohol! For soups, you can try using broth or coconut milk to add more flair.
How much liquid do I put into my cup?
Each cup has a recommended fill line indicated by an arrow on the cup. Please follow that fill line as close as possible to get the best consistency.
Can I microwave the cups?
Yes – the cups are microwave safe. We especially recommend microwaving the soups for 2-3 minutes after blending. However, please make sure you remove the lid before microwaving.
Can I reuse the cups?
No. These cups are only meant for single use in the machine and once you have used it in the Blix, it cannot be used again. We do recommend you recycle afterwards or repurpose the cup.
Can I put the cups in the dishwasher?
Our cups are made of polypropylene (PP) and are dishwasher safe in the top rack.
Where do I store my cups?
Blix cups should be stored in the freezer until you are ready to use.
How do I use the machine?
It is very easy. Once you receive the machine, take it out of its box. Make sure all of its components are assembled properly. Plug it into an outlet and then turn on the power switch on the side. Follow the instructions on how to use in your user manual.
How do I put the cup in the machine?
Open the door of the machine. Turn the cup upside down and click into the machine base. You should feel it lock in place. Close the door of the machine and press the power button to start blending.
When do I know the machine has finished Blixing?
The light on the power button will turn solid purple.
My machine is blinking. How do I know what’s wrong?
Don’t worry. The reason for the blinking could be as simple as an open door. Please refer to your user manual (hyperlink) for possible errors and indications.
How does the machine know which recipe I am preparing?
Our machine is programmed to recognize each cup to make the perfect recipe every time. This is done through a RFID (radio frequency identification) recognition system. Since each cup has different ingredients, the built-in mixer is also unique to each cup to ensure optimal blending happens.
My machine is not working, what should I do?
Refer to your user manual to troubleshoot. If you still cannot resolve your issue, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’d be happy to help you troubleshoot.

What will I receive in my box?
For your Blix Starter Pack, you will receive a machine and 6 free cups. Thereafter, if you are a subscription customer, you will receive either 6 or 12 cups in each box, depending on the plan you choose. If you choose to purchase a la carte on your own schedule, you can get as many cups as you like in the multiples of 6.
Can I take the lid out and add my own ingredients inside the cup before using it in the machine?
No. Do not remove the lid before putting it in the machine (Machine will reject the cups with the open lids due to safety). We also do not recommend putting in your own ingredients. Every cup is pre-packed with the exact mix of ingredients to ensure the best recipe and taste. The only thing you should add is liquid or a booster packet.
Where can I find the instructions?
We include a Blix user manual with each starter pack. It can also be accessed as a pdf here (hyperlink).
Where do I add the liquid in my cup?
Every cup lid has a flap that opens. Open the flap and pour in the liquid of your choice to the fill line indicated. Be sure to only open the flap and not the entire lid before blending. Don’t forget to close the flap by pushing the round plastic on the lid before you place the cup inside the machine.
How do I heat up the soups?
You can heat up the soups by pouring them out into a pot and simmer on stovetop, or remove the lid and put the cup in the microwave for 2-3 minutes.

How do I update account information?
Simply go to “my account” at the top right corner of the website www.myblix.com. You will be taken to your account dashboard. Click on the tab that says, “account info” and you can update your personal account information there.
How do I place an order?
New Customers: To order, simply to here https://myblix.com/starter-pack/ to get a Blix Starter Pack that includes a machine and 6 FREE cups.
Current Customers: If you are on a subscription and would like to add an a la carte order, simply go to “Blix cups” navigation tab and start adding cups to your cart in multiples of 6 (you can buy 6, 12, 18 or 24 cups). If you are an a la carte customer and would like to switch to subscription, simply go to your “manage my plan” section on your “my account” page. You will see a button for “add a subscription”. Click on the button and select a plan for 6 or 12 cups per week.
What payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards.
How do I get a subscription?
New Customers: When you purchase your starter pack, you will be prompted to add a subscription. Simply choose a plan for 6 or 12 cups per week.
Current Customers: Go to your “manage my plan” section on your “my account” page. You will see a button for “add a subscription”. Click on the button and select a plan for 6 or 12 cups per week.
What happens to my machine if I cancel my subscription?
When you cancel your subscription, you will still be able to order cups a la carte anytime to use with your machine.
Does Blix deliver to me?
We currently deliver to the East Coast. When you sign up, enter your zip code and we will confirm if Blix delivers to your area. We’re working on expanding nationally very soon so if we don’t yet deliver to your area, please get on our waitlist and we’ll notify you as soon as possible.
How much does my delivery cost?
Shipping is always free to subscribers. Shipping cost for customers who buy cups a la carte is $7.
How often will my delivery come?
If you are a subscription customer, your delivery will come every week on the date you choose. If you are not a subscription customer, your delivery will come depending on the date of your order.
Can I change my delivery date?
We are currently delivering once a week. As we start delivering to more regions, we will start offering more delivery dates. You can also always skip your next week’s delivery before 7pm EST on the Saturday prior to your next delivery. This will delay your delivery for the upcoming week. Make sure you make all your changes by this date and time for upcoming week’s delivery.
Where can I get tracking information?
We will send you the tracking information as soon as your Blix box leaves our warehouse.
How do I pause or skip my delivery?
You can pause or skip your deliveries anytime you want before 7pm EST on the Saturday prior to your next delivery. Make sure you make all your changes by this date for upcoming week’s delivery.
How do you keep the food frozen during transit?
We pack our cups in temperature controlled boxes with proper insulation and dry ice to keep them frozen for more than 50 hours. This means they will keep frozen during transit and even for few more hours on your doorstep before you get home. Make sure you put the cups in your freezer as soon as you get home. Do not touch the dry ice when you take your cups out of the box. Simply leave it in an open space for dry ice to disappear.
Food and Nutrition
Where do you source your food from?
We source all our ingredients from certified IQF (individually quick frozen) suppliers that selectively source their produce from quality-controlled farms that have the freshest fruits and vegetables that season. All produce is individually frozen at the time of harvest to maintain the highest nutritional value without any preservatives or additives.
Where can I find ingredient and nutritional information on each recipe?
You can find the nutritional information on each recipe on our website. Just go to our product page and click on the recipe you’d like to find out more about.
Do you use artificial sweeteners flavors, or colors?
All our ingredients are as natural as it gets. We don’t use any artificial ingredients, sweeteners, flavors or colors in our recipes.
How long is the food good for?
Our food has a long shelf life of 12 months, so from when you receive your cups, you may store it in your freezer up to a year. A best by date is stamped at the lid of each cup.
Do you use GMO ingredients?
We do not use any GMO ingredients at all!
Do you cater to people with allergies?
Our recipes are made in a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame seeds. Some of our recipes also contain nuts or soy. Therefore, if you have an allergy to any of these items, our recipes are not suitable for you.
Are your products suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, our recipes are suitable for vegetarians.
Are your products suitable for vegans?
Yes, our recipes are suitable for vegans.
Are your products nut free?
Some of our recipes contain nuts. In addition, they are packed in a facility that also processes peanuts, tree nuts and sesame seeds. Therefore, if you have a nut allergy, our recipes are not suitable for you.
