Mint Cocoa Chip

smoothie

This is your chance to appreciate your favorite ice cream or milkshake flavor without the guilt. This smoothie tastes just like the classic cocoa and mint flavor duo but is packed with good-for-you ingredients. The chlorella helps protect your body from toxins and the cocoa balances everything out with sweetness, making this the perfect “dessert for breakfast” smoothie option. Don’t you love it when that happens?

The Ingredient Story

Cocoa

Meet Cocoa. It's what happiness tastes like. Whether it's in powder or dark chocolate form, cocoa can support a healthy heart. It's high in flavonols and polyphenols which can help lower inflammation and bad cholesterol. Studies also insist that cocoa can improve overall mood. Shocker!

Mint

You've tried mint. It's cooling, refreshing, and a perfect addition to any food recipe. It's packed with antioxidants and vitamins. Mint can help improve brain function and has strong anti-inflammatory properties, making it the perfect addition to detox smoothies.

Chlorella

Have you tried Chlorella? It's nutrient-dense algae and the embodiment of a superfood. It's loaded with many vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fats. In fact, three grams of chlorella has about 100 mg of omega-3s. Chlorella helps the body detox and can boost your immune system, too.

How to Blend

Tear

First, tear off the orange tab completely.

Fill

Through the flap of your cup, add liquid to the relevant fill line. We recommend water or coconut water for this recipe. Close the flap tightly.

Squeeze

After adding liquid, squeeze your cup repeatedly to ensure the food isn't stuck to the bottom of the cup.

Blend

Place the cup upside down in the kwiX Machine. Push the start button. When the blend is complete, this makes up to a 16 oz smoothie. Enjoy!
